Bogor
The kujang is Bogor's traditional weapon. This monument is one of the first things you'd see in Bogor.
The becak (cycle rickshaw) is also a common sight in Bogor. It is enviromentally friendly and emits (almost) no emission. I had a bad experience with one of these when the wheel got snagged on a railway track, tipping over the whole thing, including the unfortunate passengers... me and my grandma. Luckily we survived to tell the tale.
The bemo is yet another means of transportation in Bogor. It used to be more popular, until the introduction of minibuses.
Regina Pacis
The Regina Pacis junior high school where I spent 3 years of my life.
When I went home in Dec 2003, the school was being renovated. It has been completed since.
The Regina Pacis senior high school where I spent another 3 years of my life.
A closer view of the school logo. The word "SMU" means "senior high school".

RP is a Catholic school, so we have chapel in the complex...
... complete with a large statue of Jesus.
Ms. Roslin was my arts teacher in junior high school.
Ms. Ruby (left) was my physics teacher, and Ms. Rini (right) was my religious study teacher. She also happens to be my godmother.
Left to right: Ms. Tanti, Ms. Yuni, Ms. Susy, and Ms. Yayu. Ms. Yuni was my geography teacher, Ms. Susy was my language teacher (Indonesian and Sundanese), and Ms. Yayu was my arts teacher. Ms. Tanti started at the school after I was gone.

Another view outside the school.
The presidential palace is literally just across the road from the school complex. And yes, there is always traffic jam. Incidentally, there are plenty of deer in the palace.
Ciampea
My granduncle's family (from mum's side) lives in Ciampea.
They have many birds...
... and sometimes they make them fight.
There are plenty of greeneries around.
It's all plants, everywhere you look.
We went past a lot of greeneries...
... to visit grandad's (mum's dad) grave.
Random Trips
This mosque is the largest one in my hometown of Cicurug.
This car wreckage serves to encourage people to drive safely.
On our way to see the waterfall. My sister held on to dad, while mum trailed behind them.
The waterfall itself.

A giant clock.
Balinese-style gates.
Lost in the maze.
In theory, "Kampoeng Cina" ("Chinese Village") is an attraction with miniature Chinese-style buildings and architecture. In reality, it's a marketplace which has little to do with Chinese-style buildings and architecture.
Family and friends
