Things along the way
It was raining when we left Melbourne.
The very exciting view between Melbourne and Canberra. The road sign is of a fork in the road, which we're meant to take.
Something told me we weren't in Victoria anymore.
An interesting statue in Holbrook.
Tobias took this pic of me, I think.
Good ol' torpedo. Also in Holbrook.
The life-size replica, above-waterline view of HMAS Otway. A fitting centrepiece of a town hundreds of kilometres away from the sea.
The Dog on the Tuckerbox is a statue of a dog, on a tuckerbox.
These ruins used to be a house... I think.
Canberra
Canberra streets are wide...
... intersections are huge...
... and there's plenty of greeneries around.
Tobias and I stayed in the Capital Executive Apartment Hotel.
Thank goodness it's got two single beds.
The hotel room has a cooking facility.
The hotel has a quite nice lamp.
ANU Campus
The ANU logo.
ANU has a lot of nice paths and trees.
Even more nice paths and trees.
There is also a nice little creek.
Campus ground. Click the image for the full panoramic view. The use of 360° viewer is recommended to see the image in full 360°.
The AIP Congress was held not far from this Union Court.
A nice water lily on campus.
The phrase "Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair" doesn't have the same ring to it anymore.
Playing pool at the John XXIII college. Left to right: Half of Tony, Ryan, Tom, random ANU dude, Alex, Matt, Steve, David.
Tom's on fire. Taken by Alex.
Ryan. Taken by Alex.

Terry, looking cool. Taken by Alex.

Leaf. Taken by Akin.
Tony, in front of his 1964 Holden EH.
The licence plate number is YAG532, referring to the Nd-YAG laser operating at 532 nm. Incidentally, that wavelength correspond to the colour green.
Another view of Tony's car, just because it's such a cool car.
